What is sports General Training ?

Lesson 2: General Training

  Several educational intentions: movement control, machine control, opposition control.

  Several types of exercises: running, jumping, crawling, throwing, climbing.

   The diagram below illustrates a possible route

corresponding to this type of lesson. 

 

 

Lesson 3:General Training

Aeducational intention: control of time and space.

Several types of exercises: walking, running, jumping

1. Race with stops in squatting position, start again in the same direction or in

 the opposite direction.

  2. Steps chased forward: right foot in front: then left foot in front.

3. Trotting: on signal, four percussion on site; then resume movement.

4. Evolution four by four on the field: keep the distance, respect the right 

 priority, do not cut a group.

5. Quadrille formation evolving on a half-court.

The first time alone (A).

The second time: by two (B).

The third time by four (C).

The fourth time by eight.


6. Four teams arranged around the field. Change sides with avoidances;

a) 1 and 3, then 2 and 4.

b) 1 and 2, then 3 and 4.

c) 1, 2, 3 and 4 together.

7. In the field, team development:

a) Four forward shuffles (right foot forward).

 b) Four side casts to the left.

  c) Four forward shuffles (left foot forward).

 d) Four lateral steps to the right.

8. Move in a lane depending on an opponent:

 a) A progresses forward, B progresses backward.

b) A can change direction, B must copy its movement to A.

9. Two by two:

a) Slow-fast run over 25 to 30 m.

 b) # 1 runs fast: # 2 slowly.

 c) Race against a ball rolling on the ground (faster, slower).

10. Paced race: 50 m in 12 ", then 100 m in 24" and 300 m in 1 "12".
